    My responsibilities include building and then moving the finished set/props from UW-Parkside's Scene Shop in Kenosha, WI to Fort Atkinson, WI, then proceeding to strike the previously used set and completely install the new set. Once the supplies have been loaded in, I concentrate on the change-over of the light plots; this involves moving instruments, setting up spotlights and specials, hanging tracks, focusing and troubleshooting in this arena theatre space.

    As a Shop Assistant at CLC I worked with the Shop Foreman to construct the sets and hang the light plots for a five production season. After classes, students would come to complete mandatory lab hours and I would supervise their work and make sure all safety guidelines were followed. My coworkers and I founded the first theatre club, Center Stage Theatre Club, of which I was Treasurer; overseeing the budgeting and allocation of funds.
