    In my current role, I am responsible for developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality. I am also responsible for overseeing and supervising the collection and compilation of qualitative and quantitative aviation accident and incident data from primary and secondary sources; analysing the data to identify trends and preparing interpretative reports with recommendations for actions to be taken to optimize safety.     During my tenure in this role, I led a team of safety information professionals. I was responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of the team and ensuring the quality of the AIID accidents, serious incidents, incidents, and CAHRS database that record all reported safety occurrences. Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating AIID safety recommendations and messages to other states as well as monitoring and acting on safety recommendations made by other states. In addition to managing AIID Centralized Safety & Security Reporting (CSSR)/European Co-ordination Centre for Accident and Incident Reporting Systems (ECCAIRS) and Confidential Aviation Hazard Reporting (CAHRS) system, I was responsible for relationship management, assigning follow-ups to investigators, reviewing, and approving incidents and CAHRS follow-up reports. In addition to producing the AIID's monthly and quarterly occurrence statistics reports, I also prepared presentations for the MANCO and EXCO. I was also responsible for coordinating data requests from both internal and external stakeholders. In addition to that, I worked with management on the development of a training plan, an accident forecast plan, and a review of the department's budgets. During the ISO certification process, I took part in internal and external audits.
