As an A/SS / senior DCS operator,I am responsible to remain in control of the Ammonia-4 plant /equipment in an efficient,cost effective and safely until shift is handed over to, as per Qafco standard operating procedure. Assess maintenance requirements, initiate work request, work permits (cold, hot, entry, radiography and mechanical LOTO) for immediate maintenance activities. Also arrange / fill electrical power isolation slip(LOTO) for electrical crew to safe handover of power driven equipment’s for maintenance safely.Preparing shift monthly reports, plant monthly reports.Attending RCA, 5-why and what if analysis.Trouble shooting and remedial measures.Responsible for the shift daily and monthly activity. Raising plant safety concern to the respective trade if any.Conducting training for the process operators as per company instructions and procedures. Active participant of plant SD / Start-up and annual turn around. Experienced in ERP system.

Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Ltd., KAFCO, Chittagong,Bangladesh is the biggest and most modern multinational Ammonia-Urea fertilizer complex in Bangladesh. It is a 100% export oriented Ammonia-Urea plant based on natural gas as principal raw material. Ammonia plant has designed by HALDOR TOPSOE with capacity 1500 MT/Day of liquid Ammonia and is controlled by Distributed Control System (DCS) installed by BAILEY Infi-90, Japan.Active participation in pre-commissioning, commissioning and guarantee test period of the plant from March 01,1994 to April 15,1995 under the direct supervision of CHIYODA corporation (a process licensor & General contractor, KAFCO), Japan. Discussions of any sort of nonconformity / defects with the line Manager, General Contractor and Process Licensor for possible modification. Reviewing the plant Operating conditions with line Manager during commissioning / guarantee test period.Carried out studies, conducted process units audit and recommended plant improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, safety and cost saving.Effectively performed optimization of the process, troubleshooting and safety audit. Reviewed P&ID and PFD and developed operating procedures/ operating instructions.Successfully managed and coordinated plant modification projects, improvements, debottleneck & pollution control. Participated in Hazop study in plant modification projects.Supervised process monitoring activities for ammonia plant in supporting plant operations.Plan, prioritize, allocate and supervised all shift activities to run the plant in a cost effective, efficient and safe manner.
