Research & Development Mechanical Engineer(Wistron Technology Mobile Computer Device R&D Division)1. Design & develop mechanical structure & modelling using 3D CAD software, Creo Parametric.2. Led team to monitor schedule & progress of product development that being transfer from HQ to local factory according to dateline and specification. 3. Communicated with other functional teams (QE, NPI, SQM, QA, IQC) to provide solutions related to engineering product design, assembly features & complex problems.4. Arranging for On-going Reliability Test (ORT) by monthly basis to confirm the reliability and functionality the product design in order to achieve customer result & satisfaction.5. Frequent travelled on-site (Local Vendor) to participate for local injection trial shot and doing part approval.6. Participate in Vendor's factory auditing to ensure their service is meet with Wistron requirement.7. Analyze the test results and modify the design as required.8. Debug and troubleshot (DOE) for unknown or sudden issue from reliability test and production site.9. Part and material details checking to ensure incoming material is followed as approval part.10. Inspect mechanical material defect using various kind of machine (X-Ray machine, OMM 2.5D, CMM, Gauge)

1. Manage the whole product development project from the beginning of the design until the mass production stage by maintaining the development schedule in every required stage to ensure the smoothness of the product development cycle.2. Make a top presentation of the model development to the Japanese and local Managing Director to get approval, especially before handover to the other related sections to ensure every department acknowledges about the model concept and also the assembly structure itself.3. Person in charge of in-house development module since 2016. This is the new R&D development project whereby Panasonic starts to produce their own module mechanical structure of LCM panel. Liaison with optical component vendors to ensure the final assembly product is built with high quality by exchanging skill and knowledge in each specialist aspect.4. Prepared the bill of materials (BOM) of mechanical items for a new model introduction to ensure all components are within the assembly part list.5. Completion designing of TV set structure and component by using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) by some consideration from many markets (Japan, Asia, Euro) which included parts manufactured through extrusion process, injection molding and metal stamping process.6. Create 2D technical drawing to perform assembly and fabrication drawing. Liaison with the Production Engineering department or Vendor on necessary parts for checking on the details of design (tolerance, assembly, flatness, type of material, etc.)7. Conduct tool meetings and discuss with vendors about new development parts or materials, involving in schedule, improvement of design, vendor limitation, injection or stamping issue and others.8. Leader of Equipment management for R&D Mechanical Section. This responsibility is to ensure every staff is following the rule on managing every equipment.
