Doing the necessary aircraft swap to ensure fleet operation optimization to achieve the least possible positioning flights.PRE-FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTSWhenever we fly to a new destination, it is my duty to make the following arrangements which are necessary for smooth and safe operation.SLOTS COORDINATIONIt is my duty to contact airport operator to get slot confirmation for our flights through standard IATA SMA or SCR forms.TRAFFIC RIGHTSContact civil aviation authorities to get the necessary traffic rights & overflying permissions. I apply using the standard forms "if any". I submit all the necessary documents which may be required and follow up with CAA daily till I get the traffic rights.APPOINTING AGENTSSome countries refuse to deal directly with the airlines. In such a case, I search for approved representation agencies and sign agreement with the agency I choose to apply on our behalf to get the necessary traffic rights or permission.HANDLING AGREEMENTSIt is my duty to search the market for handling agents. I negotiate handling agreements to achieve the best possible terms for our company. Once agreement is reached I sign these handling agreements and pass them for all concerned departments for implementation.FUEL AGREEMENTSSearch the market for fuel suppliers & sign fuel agreements.OVERNIGHTSWhenever there is a need to keep our aircraft abroad due to crew rest or client requirements, it is my duty to secure overnight arrangements. These arrangements include hotel reservation, transportation from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, catering arrangements before departure for both crew and passengers.

    With accumulated knowledge, vast network acquired over the time during my work as planning director, a period during which I have maintained good relations and have been dealing directly with travel agents, other airlines, handling agents, Civil Aviation Authorities, fuel suppliers and other entities and service providers; I was appointed as sales & Marketing Director while keeping my duties as Planning Director as well.My mission is to Participate with commercial team to promote the company's business through finding alternates, new solutions and remedies for the deteriorating sales conditions due to the economic and political circumstances over the past years which resulted in a sever shrink in the fleet size of our company from seven airplanes to one.With the help of my colleagues, TOGETEHR we managed to survive this crisis by penetrating new markets and exploring new spots. As a result of our success, the company is now re-expanding its business and has finally managed to achieve the acquisition of four new airplanes.
