    Conducted an MSc research project on the effects of drying and rewetting climatic conditions on microbial diversity and testate amoebae in peat soils at the Magna archaeological site.Investigated the impact of peat quality on microbial community composition and testate amoeba populations.Utilized microcosms, light microscopy, and 16S rRNA sequencing techniques for data collection and analysis.Findings contribute to understanding the ecological dynamics of peat soils under varying climatic conditions and have implications for artefact preservation at the Magna site.
