    Conklin Company Inc. is a manufacturing and distribution company with six major product divisions: Agronomics, Animal Products, Building Products, Health, Home and Vehicle Products. The products are sold via a network marketing concept through a vast network of Independent Distributors. My duties in General Accounting included overseeing Cash, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit and Collections, Sales Taxes and Accruals.I played in integral role in the post conversion clean up in the company’s conversion to a Sage X3 ERP system. Key Balance Sheet Accounts were reconciled to enable Financial Statements to be issued. The flow of information into these accounts was defined and documented. I set up numerous processes and procedures, trained staff and set up checks and balances to ensure information flowing into these accounts was correct and accurate. As a result, errors and transaction problems were significantly reduced, time spent on reconciliations decreased substantially, balances in Key Balance Sheet accounts were reliable and accurate and Financial Statements were being prepared and closed on a timely basis.At Conklin, I worked with the following software packages:• Sage X3 ERP• SPS (Sage Payment Systems) Merchant Card Payment Systems• Avalara Sales Tax Cert Capture and Reporting

Implemented effective financial management and cost accounting that substantially improved cash flow, reduced costs and enhanced operations. Appointed to the Board of Directors of Knight Colors. While at Knight Colors:• Inventory Turnover improved 116%• Accounts Receivable Turnover improved 92%• Bad Debts decreased 56%• Notes Payable decreased 43% and interest expense decreased 49%• Installed Batchmaster ERP system with Platinum Accounting.
