    • Built and lead a team of testers and managed schedules across multiple projects.• Architected and participated in the development of a system to utilize virtual machines for an automated test system that was tied to the build system, saving thousands in hardware costs for the small company. The system was triggered by the completion of a build to run build verification tests or the entire suite, all on a variety of configurations.• Architected, developed, and directed the development of a UI automation framework and tools using the .NET UI Automation accessibility framework. This framework was usable for both desktop clients and web clients. The UI automation tools had the added bonus of testing for compliance with Section 508, which was important for Adapx as they often sold products to Federal government offices.• Developed test procedures based on use of Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS) and custom in-house tools. Procedures were based on the MSF CMMI for Agile methodology.• Develop in-house test case management framework using TFS work items as a base data store. (Built-in Visual Studio Test Manager proved to be limited.)• Trained test engineers on use of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, source control, and best-practice procedures for using both.• Helped develop company-wide project policies and procedures, and customized Visual Studio Team Foundation project and work item templates to fit developed procedures.• Created and managed build process across multiple projects.     • Lead development of test architecture and tools for a biometric authentication security product and developer-oriented API/SDK, running on Windows and Mac OS X.• Developed automation framework based on hardware keyboard emulation, and its own custom parsing engine. This framework allowed automation of tests for the GINA login screen, which would otherwise not be able to be automated using normal software-based solutions. At the same time, test result verification that was previously done by hand is now automatically verified and with automated reporting. Since the solution was scriptable, timing independent, and could shove any desired number of keystrokes into a machine, the framework was later used to drive over 2500 test cases. That wasn’t the original intent, but it apparently works.• Created framework to increase ease of doing code coverage runs for less technical testers, including automated builds of profilable binaries and collection of coverage information across machines and domains. Page 2• Created web-based development and test metrics reporting systems for more accurate project tracking. Later, this reporting was replicated using the tools available in Team Foundation Server/SQL Reporting Services.• Hiring manager for the test team responsible for filling out the needs of the team as product line expanded.• Acted as release manager for all projects by managing bugs and triage, quality checkpoints, and project reporting.
