    o Managed and supported outsourcing project of team’s functions to India.  Worked towards standardization and creation of risk and control management of the India team. Flew to Pune, India for 4 weeks as head trainer and manager of the outsourcing project. Controlled 10 different functions and 16 employees in India that manage the team’s old functions. Created a new team of control specialists in Baltimore who manage, control and reduce risk to the firm in this transition. o Led a team of 5 Analysts that decreased the incidence of internal failed settlements and in charge of journaling process for the department.  Used statistical analysis to monitor collective and individual progress to provide measure of increased performance and assisted with employee career management. Initiated and Co-coordinated “Myers-Briggs Type Indicator” sessions for over 40 people in department. Due to its success in helping employees better communicate, it is now being used through the whole Baltimore office. Identified need for new reports and eliminated non-value added work. Created multi-use manual to train employees, introduce products and systems, and identify additional training courses. This new system resulted in streamlined training which saved hours of unnecessary work for an employee and increased the transparency of work per Federal requirements. o Escheatment and write-off: Analyzed and improved interface during system testing and provided support and feedback throughout implementation.

  • Analyst – OTC Derivatives Settlement

    • Jan 2008 - Dec 2009

    o Reconciled large MS controlled account - Identified erroneous and incorrectly modeled trades and liaised with sales and trading departments to resolve discrepancies, thereby minimizing the firm’s risk. For the first time in three years, the quantity of discrepancies was reduced to zero and was a significant achievement for this type of an account. o Was recognized as subject matter expert for write-offs and escheatment for FID OTC Settlements and in the use of the Intellimatch program (used in order to reconcile and reduce amount of bank-side fails).o Trained new employee on all systems and process.
