A Circle of Support aims to formalise informal networks to provide valuable and authentic support to people with a disability, people struggling with mental illness, or those who feel lonely. Let’s build a community together. I operated as the Treasurer and support supervisor, where I oversaw the P&L for the organisation as well as supervise our Circle Facilitators and monitor their practice and well-being. This is an unpaid role, and all services I provide that generate revenue are returned to the organisation to contribute to its growth.

I was required to maintain a sound knowledge of the interface of mainstream services and the NDIS, including the COAG agreement and other essential legislation. My role was to manage and coordinate the various services NDIS participants would receive to ensure the best outcomes for their well-being and future. I often coordinated large professional services teams, government departments such as justice and health, and families and community action groups. I was required to meet short deadlines, exceed KPIs in a high-demand work environment, and exercise superior judgment and initiative in highly sensitive scenarios.
