    Michael was called to the bar in 1984 and began practice as an associate shortly thereafter at Lyons, Arbus. Lyons, Arbus became Lyons, Goodman and he was made a partner in the firm. When Lyons, Goodman dissolved in 1990, he joined the firm of Iacono Brown where he thereafter became a partner in 1988. He left Iacono Brown on October 1, 1997 to form ZTGH. Michael has practiced exclusively in the area of insurance since 1984, both in the property and casualty field. He also has defended environmental law claims. Michael's current practice includes accident benefits work, tort motor vehicle work, general liability and property work. He has recently expanded his practice to include mediation. Michael appears regularly before all Ontario courts and at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.Michael has written and lectured on a number of insurance issues including environmental claims and the Occupiers Liability Act. He also has served on the editorial board of the publication Legal Focus which specializes in property and general liability issues.Michael was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2016 in the areas of insurance law and personal injury litigation.
