    Cooperative teamwork with international medical humanitarian aid organizations serving Uganda and South Sudan (now the Republic of South Sudan), also for shorter periods in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Sumatra, Thailand, and the Philippines, in providing clinical medicine to under-served populations, providing effective training in public health and preventive medicine, adjunct teaching at universities, serving people through agencies like Medicens Sans Frontieres, Feed The Children, Living Waters, Mercy Corps, Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau, International Hospital Kampala, Water Missions International, Christian Connections for International Health, Kampala International University, Uganda Christian University, the University of Glamorgan (Wales, UK), and others within these many years.

    Medical Corps Officer (1976-1997), Warrant Officer Physician's Assistant (1971-1976), Hospital Corpsman Operating Room Technician (1967-1971), reporting to the Navy Chain of Command. How are accomplishments measured or quantified and qualified within a 30-year span of military service? Usually, it's sufficient in saying that "I was honorably retired". This service included working with many diverse groups, places and situations--peacetime, wartime, shore duty and sea duty, routine hospital work and special operations with clandestine teams in remote locations. Access to my active duty files are sequestered for security purposes at the GSA National Military Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, MO, and furthur information from me or from GSA center staff about my career remains inaccessible.
