The role of the Vice-Chair is to assist the Chair in the development and delivery of the monthly professional develpment and to organise relevant speakers for the group.

    The Auckland Branch Operational Tax Liaison Group comprises of selected Chartered Accountants members in Public Practice, Senior Members of Inland Revenue, a representative from ACC and members of the Tax Team from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.Quarterly meetings are held to iron out issues which appear at an operational level at IRD and ACC.

    The Public Practice Advisory Group is made up Australian and New Zealand members holding a Public Public Certificate.The objective of the Advisory Group is to:- provide advice to management on current and emerging issues facing members in public practice- make recommendations on products and services being developed and delivered to support members in public practice- monitor the implementation of of initiatives for relevance and quality and provide feedback to management on the execution of those initiatives- provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of engagement to members within public practice and suggest plans or strategies to address any issues- undertake specific projects requested by management- liaise with Regional Councils/ Local Leadership Teams to ensure relevance, communication and engagement with all members at a local level
