    This start-up position opportunity was as the first HR Director for Transatlantic Petroleum (TAT) with headquarters in Addison, Texas. TAT (see www.transatlanticpetroleum.com) is a publicly traded oil/natural gas exploration, production and distribution company with facilities and employees in Dallas, Turkey and Bulgaria. Key support staff and senior exploration and drilling engineering staff are located at the Addison office. Although this opportunity was short in tenure it was a very interesting experience allowing my involvement with the teams in Dallas and Istanbul, Turkey and directing the HR staff in Istanbul, setting up HR processes and procedures for the company and learning the fundamentals of the petroleum industry.

Pro*Act has office locations in Monterey, CA, and Dallas, TX, and owns Harvest Sensations, which operates two specialty produce distribution facilities in Los Angeles and Miami.Pro*Act employed 275 employees, and in addition to being the VP of HR for this workforce, I provided HR consulting support for the member distributor's management teams and assisted local HR Managers with numerous projects. Employment at these member distributor companies exceeded 10,000.
