    I managed the global Web team at Avon. Achievements included the introduction of a comprehensive API, mobile commerce app, agile development and continuous integration. Modernized U.S., Argentinian and European websites by decomposing a monolithic legacy app to a modern stack with responsive design, a better CMS and an API-driven architecture on the Azure Cloud. Technologies included Angular, Bootstrap, Node, MongoDB, Magnolia CMS, and a polyglot API front-ended by Azure APIM. Oracle and SQL Server were also used on the back-end.

    Managed web development and integration for Hasler Mailing Systems. We built security conscious apps targeted to customers and dealers, combining a modern web stack with back-office systems running on Siebel, Oracle and JD Edwards. After Hasler was acquired by Neopost I orchestrated merging two brands into a single website powered by a polyglot service layer. I then became the digital product owner, continuously improving the online experience based on customer feedback and site metrics.

    Oversaw a team of programmers and project managers providing high performance ecommerce solutions for Excite, Prodigy, ABC and others. Services included branded online shopping, product search and affiliate systems. We created one of the original affiliate networks and pioneered cross-domain tracking and reporting techniques.
