The show featured Johnny Paycheck, Bo Diddley and Levon Helm. I also co-wrote, engineered and played drums on the theme song.Unfortunately the show was never picked up due to some badly timed hanky panky on Mr. Paycheck's part. The other two shows were variety review type shows for the Playboy Network, filmed at the New York Playboy Club. • Video Production/Percussionist
      • Jun 1974 - Jul 1974
      • Orkney Springs, VA

While still majoring in Music Education at James Madison University, I was hired to videotape student conductors studying with Maestro Richard Lert. Richard Lert's father sang in Brahms's choir, and the composer was a frequent guest at their house. The Maestro taught the young, but accomplished conductors from scores with Brahm''s personal notes hand-written in the margins.I would begin videotaping and then perform one of the percussion parts on the piece being studied. Being the videographer did not make me immune to Maestro Lert's critiques of my musical performance! In the afternoons, when the rest of the orchestra was swimming or otherwise enjoying the Shenandoah Valley retreat, I was in my room playing back the video for the student conductors.
