From 1983 to 2008: Instructor in the Montgomery County Public School System at Gaithersburg High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Mr. Patrick O’Connor (Resource teacher). I have taught the following courses over the years: Biology, (basic, on level, and Honors); Chemistry (on level, and Honors); Physics (basic, on level, and Honors); Physical Science (basic, on level, and Honors); Human Anatomy/ physiology; Environmental science (basic, on level); Earth Science (basic, on level,) Algebra 1 (basic, on level, and Honors); algebra 2 (on level); Geometry (on level); Statistics (tutoring undergrads and grad students).• 1994-1997: Adult Education Night School Chairperson at Gaithersburg High School, Misters Robert Turner, Fred Evans (Principle at GHS), Benjamin Marlin, PhD; supervisors.• 1989-1993 Consulting Technical Scientist at the USDA, ARC, Germplasm Quarantine facility, Amid Hadidi, PhD supervisor; 1993 with the Animal, Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Arnold Tschanz, PhD supervisor, in Beltsville, Maryland. (evenings and weekends, but full time: GS 9 and 11 respectively). Duties included extraction, purification, PCR of DNA/ RNA isolates, sequencing of those products, Southern and Dot blotting of Apple-Scar Skin, and Pear Green-Crinkle Viroids.
