Gorman Health Group is the leading solutions and consulting firm for government-sponsored health programs. The Valencia application meets the reconciliation needs of organizations working within government-sponsored health programs, including Medicare and the Health Insurance Exchanges. As a member of the Valencia development team, I was able to implement several significant performance improvements and code enhancements within the application while supporting the development of new features as well as client implementations. Additionally I introduced improvements to the existing development and maintenance processes for Valencia and its clients.

McKesson is an industry leader in numerous facets of healthcare. The McKesson Health Services division focused primarily on installed and hosted solutions related to care management practices. I was the lead developer on several large-scale initiatives, including multi-tiered and web service applications, collaborating with teams around the country as a remote employee. These projects were implemented in internal and external call centers that recorded utilization and care management information for healthcare payers and health systems. Additionally I worked on many ad-hoc projects to meet the needs of the company and its clients including data parsers, file management solutions, reporting processes, and performance monitoring efforts. In this role I had many opportunities to be the conduit between clients, product management, support personnel and development teams, driving solutions that met the requirements of all of these groups.
