    NRM Education supports early learning centres, schools, TAFEs and universities that are interested in exploring environmental sustainability in their learning programs and management practices. While the program is strongly focused on behaviour change methodologies that principally engage the school community, it also extends to the broader community. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the effective promotion and engagement of school communities and partner organisations with the NRM Education program. The Coordinator also ensures the provision of efficient and effective administration, systems, staff management and support for the program. Key responsibilities:• Deliver the program within the Northern Adelaide and Barossa sub region.• Provide support and assistance in the development and implementation of the NRM Education program.• Incorporate Education for Sustainability (EfS) principles into all NRM Education actions and programs.• Develop new resources, strategies and methods to integrate sustainability education into the delivery of NRM Education. • Support and facilitate authentic ‘Youth Voice’.• Develop and deliver presentations for Teachers’ Professional Development.• Engage school communities and partners in the Program.• Attending meetings, expos, workshops, open days and other promotional events. • Develop and implement effective communication and consultation strategies with Schools, partner organisations, volunteers and other relevant stakeholders.• Assist with the negotiation of whole of school Education for Sustainability Plans and the development and implementation of School Environmental Management Plans. • Provide technical, educational and on-ground project advice and support to participating educational institutions.• Identify opportunities to connect Schools to local community programs.
