Have taught in Afghanistan (Autonomous Region), Argentina, England, France, Chile, China, Cuba, Israel, Tajikistan, Thailand and Vietnam. Documentary films I have directed/produced have been shot in Brazil, Cuba, India, Mongolia, Slovakia and the United States.

Recent films include RIVER PLANET (Director, Co-Producer) (Telly Award winner, official selection and award winner at multiple international and US Film Festivals, television broadcast in Brazil, Serbia, Slovakia and India) and THE NEW FRONTIER: SUSTAINABLE RANCHING IN THE AMERICAN WEST (Co-Director, Co-Producer, Editor, Cinematographer) (CINE Golden Eagle winner, selected for the US Department of State Documentary Showcase, multiple festival official screenings and awards, PBS broadcast.) Currently in post-production on a new film shot in Mongolia, MONGOLIAN CHRONICLES on A Tibetan Buddhist Monk who works with local communities dealing with climate change. Also in post-production on CUBAN EARTH, a documentary short shot in Pinar del Rio, Cuba about a performing arts group that uses location-based storytelling and dance to address social and environmental challenges in Cuba.

UFVF oversees the international Eastman Kodak Student Scholarship grants, and has partnerships with Technicolor, Hollywood and AbelCine, New York City. The UFVF Board of Directors and Advisory Board consist of media professionals, academics, attorneys and industry members throughout North America.
