    •On-site contract support for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Aviation Logistics Organization (ALO) at headquarters in Washington, DC. Managing and tracking an ever changing national portfolio of design and construction projects from start to finish. Through the analysis of project progression, cost and duration; delays were mitigated through the management of Mahan contract support, vendor coordination, and FAA collaboration to increase client satisfaction. Building strong relationships with end-users and FAA management became the key to managing this vast portfolio. Project portfolio analysis was conducted and reported on weekly to high-level FAA managers. •Designing and managing government headquarters and regional projects, while coordinating with General Services Administration (GSA), the lessor of many FAA occupied spaces. Collaboration with architects, regional FAA PMs, MEPs, and vendors; while mitigating union concerns over space management. Directing Mahan staff, as well as managing tough FAA clients was key; balancing expectations from multiple fronts to get the best product.•Business Case development for FAA head-quarters projects. Per the newly introduced FAA wide space order, a general reduction in space throughout the nation has been requested. Working with a baseline square footage utilization rate; various real-estate strategies are evaluated against a 10 year pay-off period to weigh the value of relocation vs. renovation vs. non-action in an effort to achieve the goals of the FAA space order and presidential mandate.

Taking a leadership role in the design and specification of interior architecture, finishes, and furniture while incorporating USGBC guidelines to achieve LEED certification. •Specifying and managing the $1.5 million dollar furniture portion of the renovation for one of the oldest law firms in Baltimore. Through the exploration of various manufacturers and a competitive bid process the final budget number was reduced to just under $1 million dollars.
