My role as the Communications and Events Coordinator at Covenant Foundation has positioned me as the Foundation’s liaison to the public as well as to Covenant Health staff members. Being primarily responsible for the planning and execution of various Foundation events, including our first annual Donor Appreciation Event, Vegreville Radiothon and the Annual Everyone’s A Winner Charity Golf Tournament, I have been instilled the invaluable experience of planning both recognition events as well as dynamic large-scale fundraising events. Through the promotion of Third Party Event fundraising along with various volunteer opportunities to the public, I have assisted with the establishment of the Caritas Foundation as being a hospital charity of choice within the Edmonton region. Along with my various other duties, I am responsible for the implementation of our bi-weekly Staff Lottery draw. This role has allowed me to further refine my strong communication and event planning skills while nourishing my passion for non-profit work and community engagement.
