School of Climate Change

Oct 2020 - Dec 2020
I attended a series of weekly lectures presented by leading experts working in various fields on issues related to climate change. Lecture topics ranged from the physical science of climate change to climate activism to climate policy.Further, I opted to conduct a capstone project during which I collaborated with four students and young professionals to research the impact of climate change on the Caribbean island nation of Dominica and propose a community-based climate resilience plan. My group's research project was selected to be developed into a poster, which I have attached below. This poster can also be found on the School of Climate Change website at https://www.oxfordclimatesociety.com/capstone-projects.html.
