Worked within a small team on high-end residential interior design projects. Some projects involved a full service interior design process, others only concentrated on certain design aspects, such as soft furnishings or lighting. Projects included: • Thurloe Square - interior design for the whole house, including sourcing furniture and soft furnishings, and designing bespoke pieces of furniture. • Herondale Avenue - producing inspiration boards following the initial client meeting, and developing room concepts and colour schemes throughout the property. Obtaining quotes from contractors and co- ordinating the whole projects. • Leacroft Avenue - producing the floor planes for an extensive building project, as well as designing colour schemes and sourcing soft furnishings.

Managed the initial stages of the development of an investment property into a residential flat suitable for rental investment. Designed floor plans for the development to maximise the value of the property for investors, whilst also ensuring that the layout flowed. Liaised directly with a specialise planning company in the preparation of the planning application for change of use. . Assistant Interior Designer, Diaz Interiors (Internship, January 2015 - present) Took on a role with a high level of responsibility, including taking control of certain design aspects within the wider project. Assisted in developing design ideas to create a co-ordinated interior space ensures the best utility whilst focussing on design. Partook in the initial interview with new clients and assisted in producing the first ideas in response to the brief. Created mood boards to help clients visualise the design concept, and discussed with client clients to develop the final concept. Focussed on service deliver, in particular considering the demands, concerns and issues of the clients, and looked for ways that value could be added through the design process. Kept up to date with current trends, concepts, materials and ideas in the interior design market, to ensure that the best service is delivered to the client. • Project management: time management to ensure that the client's deadline is met, engaged with suppliers and contractors to co- ordinate delivery times, communicated with other members of the team to ensure efficient deliver. • Research: looked into possible materials that could be used within a design, and then sourced materials, including fabrics and wallpapers, from suppliers. • Drawing and designing: prepared lighting and electric plans, floor layouts, and technical drawings for bespoke furniture designs • Invoicing: assisted with the billing procedures and issuing of estimates to potential clients.

Focussed and developed ideas following an initial brief and working within cost and budgeting constrains. • Design techniques: formalising and developing design concepts and presenting them using mood boards and other presentation techniques. • Technical drawing: freehand drawing of initial ideas, and finalising designs using CAD software. "Green Products with a multi-coloured approach" project at Howest University, Belgium (February 2012) Worked within a mixed-university team in the design of an economic bathroom fitting for use by the elderly. Ethical and green concepts were a primary consideration. Team awarded first place prize.
