I am Meg Barnette, currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. With a working knowledge of Spanish, I excel in strategic planning, program development, and management within the nonprofit sector. I have over 13 years of experience in leadership roles, including my current position as the Chief Executive Officer at Nonprofit New York, where I have been making impactful contributions since May 2020. Prior to this, I served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York and held various senior roles at the Brennan Center for Justice. I hold a J.D. in Public Interest Law from New York University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from The University of Chicago. My passion lies in advancing public policy and social justice through strategic initiatives and community partnerships.
