Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and reports these results to the CEOInsures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.Develops and maintains a sound plan of organization. • Responsible for the daily performance and support of the “Quality Cells” working with suppliers to provide the needed additional quality support as appropriate and located in their geographical areas. • Responsible for the application and management of all quality processes in the C&A supply chain in my assigned area of responsibility; including: -- Supplier and Production Unit Quality/Technical approval/ Capacity Approval/ Inspection- Supporting the Sample approval process.- Monitoring and reporting realistic daily/weekly outputs of production units by line - Organising, monitoring and participating as needed in Risk assessments, Pre-production meetings, Pilot runs, in line inspections, piece by piece garment inspection and pre-final inspections at AQL 1.5.- Reporting to their respective AQM’s on the daily, weekly and monthly activities and plans for the SPT’s and PT’s coveringo All critical findings from the pre-production meetings and pilot runs and actions initiated as a result of these.o Forward planning for SPT/PT activity and actions, in key areas of critical qualities/orders (FKI, Adverts etc) to ensure success.o Seasonal plans to relocate SPT/PT’s into new production units. - Monthly KPI and Performance reporting to AQM and UL QAD of the suppliers/production units allocated to them covering;o Quality performance (held and returned shipments from QCC1) and actions taken against critical failures.o Number of Pre-production meetings/ Pilot runs/ In lines & Pre-finals carried out - Collect Customer Complaint process.• Responsible for control of the agreed annual budgets.• Actively provides input for the development and updating of Product Quality Standards and quality processes.• Monitors the performance of each QAD unit and provides information to AQM on staff performance issues.• Required to provide solutions and/or explanations for any major quality issue and report accordingly, including “”best practice sharing”” with colleagues.
