    During this internship, I worked on multiple projects in Python. One major project was creating a script that uses Twilio's REST API to create A2P 10DLC compliant brands for Lumin's clients. This reduced Lumin's onboarding time from 30 minutes to just 5 minutes. Another major project was refactoring a major component of Lumin's software. My main goal was to make the code more readable and scalable as the company grows bigger and its software evolves. However, my favorite project I worked on was when I was working with Oracle's cloud infrastructure, called "OCI". Specifically, I was working with OCI's Kubernetes system, called "OKE". I was the first person in Lumin to learn about OKE, successfully create a 'toy' server, and taught the rest of the team how to use it.

    During this internship with Lumin.ai, I had the pleasure of working with the Lumin team to de-risk and integrate Podio, a CRM, into our system. I wrote an initial script to "de-risk" the process, then a full integration in Python. I learned a lot about working in a team here, including team-wide coordination and alignment.

    Work included front-end management of Fulgent Genetics’ website for scheduling Covid-19 tests. I also helped build and maintain an internal website for employees. The Covid-19 scheduling website can be found here: https://la.fulgentgenetics.com/appointment/screen/landing. This link is used by LA County. We primarily developed in Node.js and Vue.js. I also helped respond to support emails from people having issues with the scheduling website.
