    I currently work in the Emergency Management & Public Safety field for EOH. My background in geographical science and City & Regional Planning, combined with my experience as a paramedic working in vulnerable communities, has given me a solid grounding in the field of the emergency services and Incident Management. In particular, my dissertation focussed on disaster risk in a local scale community and I am interested in the need for improvements in South Africa’s disaster risk profile. My current role as Public Safety Consultant allows me to focus on how technology systems and solutions are able to make a difference to Public Safety and achieve our Safe and Smart City visions.
