Led the subjects of computing, software development, and digital technologies in Years 7 - 12, along with functioning in an advisory role for the primary school to ensure relevance and continuity of technical content through into the senior school.Provided entrepreneurial innovation to the School's approach to technology in education both in curricular and co-curricular programs, particularly with the Code Cadets group, and facilitate the School's community engagement with Canberra and beyond in the space of technology.Key achievements in this space included:• Organising and managing the Code Cadets San Francisco and Silicon Valley Tour (2012, 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2020) providing students with exclusive inside access to many high-tech companies located in California, and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear from engineers, managers, and executives from these companies.• Partnering with Pearson, University of Canberra, and Microsoft to conduct a world-first trial of Microsoft HoloLens in the school classroom during 2017. This included being featured by Microsoft in their May 2017 keynote and subsequently on their social channels.• Being one of the most successful institutions in the world in terms of students winning scholarships to attend the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) - with three scholars in 2015 (out of six in Australia), two scholars in 2016 (out of eight in Australia), five scholars in 2017 (out of 10 in Australia), and two scholars in 2018.• Applying and being successful for a $10,000 grant from the NSW Association of Independent Schools to introduce drone programming into our curriculum.• Providing authentic and relevant extension opportunities for enthusiastic and talented students, such as participation in hackathons - CGS teams won over $17,000 in cash and in-kind prizes at various hackathons and competitions (GovHack, Hackathon ACT, BSides Canberra, Young ICT Explorers) since we started participating in 2012.

Lead software development and digital technologies teacher for Years 7 - 12, responsible for managing all computing and digital technologies subjects to ensure that they conform and comply with the curriculum requirements and necessary programme documentation.Designed, wrote, and teach the middle-years computing curriculum: Year 10 iOS Application Development (previously Objective-C, now Swift) and Year 9 Web Application Development (XHTML and CSS with JavaScript).Currently writing a brand new course focusing on augmented and virtual reality application development, for implementation into the curriculum in 2019.Teaches Year 11 and 12 Software Design and Development for the NSW Higher School Certificate. Recent results include: 2009 1st in State, 2013 5th in State, 2015 7th in State. In my last HSC class (2015) 75% of our students achieved a result in Band 6, and 100% of our students achieved a result in Bands 5 or 6.
