The majority of my freelance work has been as a video editor, but I also have experience as a production assistant on location, camera operator, and gaffer. Over the years I have been lucky enough to work for clients such as The New York Road Runners, The Center for Communication in NYC, Daily Racing Form, The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, ICYMI Productions, and IVYinc among many others.

    As an editor in the Live Edit department my primary responsibilities were to cutdown NBA games to be aired internationally, to work in tandem with the Replay Center to provide video proof of calls made on the court, and create nightly summaries of game action around the league. Additionally, I created other content for use on NBA social media handles and NBA League Pass.

    During my time with the NBA I have performed in a wide variety of roles. As a CGF Kirk I have managed the streaming of the full slate of NBA games on a nightly basis; Approving content, solving problems as needed, and communicating with various departments to support streaming to NBA League Pass. Additionally, I have worked as an editor on pieces for the many social handles under the NBA brand, assisted Phantom camera operators in the field, and logged footage for use in our extensive archive.

    During my summer internship with Daily Racing Form I was given the opportunity to get hands on experience with various aspects of the production and post production processes. This experience included creating graphics for use in our daily videos, operating the switch board during studio shoots, editing videos on a quick turnaround for DRF's social handles, and working in the field at high profile horse races such as the Belmont Stakes.
