Head of Post Production | Director
-
2006 - Dec 2012
As a founding director of Ogilvy’s Film 360 production company I have been a big part of bringing to life some of New Zealand’s most recognisable adverts – from Kiwibank, RaboPlus, Rebel Sport, Sanitarium and Progressive. With many years in film and television post-production (including Lord of the Rings), my experience allows me to solve potential postproduction issues before they arise. With a good eye, storytelling sense and an understanding of what makes for a good performance, I’m an all-round director taking great pride in my work and ensuring a quality product is delivered each and every time.I also manage the post-production facility at Ogilvy. We provide in-house design, animation, editing and compositing.

At the time I worked there, Silverscreen was Australasia's busiest and arguably most creative production company. I had the chance to work with the best and it's an experience that put me on the right path from day one.General duties combined with undertaking research, editing casting tapes, location scouting, editing animatics, supporting flame artists and editors. Graphics support. Shooting elements on miniDV for integration with 35mm footage.
