    Marzena Richter is a UK Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a Polish Registered Auditor (PIBR). She is also a founding partner in Staniszewski & Richter, an audit, accounting and tax advisory practice, and has been the international contact partner in Poland for two global networks/associations.     An international commission was established between 2009 and 2011 between the two professional bodies of which I am a member: ICAEW and PIBR ( Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors) and the Ministry of Finance, Poland. The purpose of the commission was to conclude a memorandum of understanding regulating: mutual recognition of professional qualifications and professional disciplinary matters as well as education and training standards in the respective UK and Polish jurisdictions. The commission also worked with reference to the prevailing European Directive on Auditing Standards.
