    I will retire from my nearly 33 years leading San Francisco Business Times, and six years also leading Silicon Valley Business Journal, in May 2024. As publisher Emerita, I am spending my time until May supporting the leadership transition, making connections, and setting the stage for my next ventures and adventures.

    During my tenure at the San Francisco Business Times, I have taken it from turnaround status to a top local revenue producer in our parent company, American City Business Journals. We have built a collaborative management team, and together we continually innovate and develop new multi media products and events that meet the evolving needs of the Bay Area business community. As publisher, I am responsible for all aspects of the operation, including meeting bottom line financial expectations, growing all revenue channels, audience growth and engagement, community outreach and all-important excellence in the editorial product. In mid-2017, my role was expanded to include oversight of Silicon Valley Business Journal, to create greater synergies and collaboration between the two, which remain independent profit centers with increased collaboration in editorial, advertising and events.
