Mary Anne Sharp is a renowned conductor, director, and educator with 60 years of experience in the performing arts, including 57 years as the director/ conductor of the Decatur Civic Chorus. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music and Childhood Education from Oglethorpe University and a Life Certification Teaching Certificate. With extensive experience in concert conducting, choral music, and fine art, Mary Anne has performed and conducted at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the National Cathedral. She has also been recognized for her contributions to communities worldwide, receiving awards from three U.S. Presidents, four Governors of Georgia, and the U.S. Congress.
