I was born and raised in New Jersey and received all my education in New York. My masters was from Fordham University in Mental Health, and my undergraduate was received from Marist College in Special Education. I have been in the educational sector for more than 15 years. I have a strong background in the field of Autism. I have worked with children in the special needs field working on assisted daily living skills (ADLS), suggesting appropriate accommodations in the schools, along with introducing assistive use of technology to increase communication skills in the home. In addition I have worked with kids on improving self confidence, along with career exploration. When working with clients I work mainly on behavior. I focus on the presenting issues, determine goals with the client and then put a plan in place to help achieve those goals. This is a collaborative effort. I focus on social skills, friendship goals, self-esteem, family crisis, and career exploration, along with others based off the childs' needs. I specialize in special education, behavior management, learning disabilities, social anxiety, children of divorce, relational aggression, use of technology, and bullying.
