Globecom supplied broadcast technical solutions to clients across Africa. Responsible for client development, system design, project implementation and training. This entailed consultation with clients, regulators and donors from around the African continent, designing appropriate solutions and seeing projects to completion through managing technical teams, installation logistics and project budgets. Responsible for broadcast training and technical support to clients. Headed research and development exploring relevant technologies for African broadcasters. Some notable projects completed during this time:- Installation of Digital Automation Systems and User Training at Radio Okapi, Kinshasa, DRC- Writing Portuguese Technical User Manual for Community Radio for UNESCO in Mozambique - On-site Equipment Installation and Technical Training at Capital Radio, Harare, Zimbabwe

This included an assessment of the technology at each station and a study of its effectiveness. On-site training and assisting stations to develop financial and management mechanisms to deal with technical issues were also important parts of this work.
