    Promoted ESL ReadingSmart, a Web-based learning environment for English as a Second Language (ESL) students and teachers, adopted by the Texas State Board of Education as ESL instructional material for grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in 2003 and 2011; first online ESL program ever adopted by the Board. Student enrollment reached 20,000+, and revenues were up to $600K/year when the company merged with Archipelago Learning, LLC in 2011.Travelled extensively to all corners of Texas to present ESL ReadingSmart as adopted material.Closely collaborated with teachers and educators in designing and developing ESL ReadingSmart and ReadingMate to maturity.Identified and resolved problems and evaluated competing online programs.Attended and participated in a wide variety of meetings, trade shows and sales presentations, establishing visibility and presence both nationally and internationally, in Mexico and China.     Designed and built multiple projects in Caracas, Venezuela, and in Moscow, Russia, and Minsk, Belarus•CorporateDesigned and built offices for an investor in real estate and commercial buildings.Participated in the design of gas stations for Lagoven, a gasoline distributor in Venezuela.Participated in the design of the new building for oil flow control in Amuay, a large refinery in western Venezuela.Participated in the design and supervision of the offices for Dupont de Venezuela.• EducationalArchitect of choice for ten years for many educational projects: new buildings, new wings, and remodeling for the two international schools as well as a large private school in Caracas.Projects included master plans and gymnasiums for two of the schools, new early childhood buildings, as well as new science building for the private school.
