    As part of the MVS national leveraged team, MVS western region area leader on the MVS national leveraged team. The national team supports systems across 4 U.S. regional processing centers. Systems need to conform to national standards, so automated tools can be used to support these systems. All systems are maintained to current levels, as to remain supported from all software vendors. The MVS western region area leader is the initial interface for questions and issues regarding the MVS systems for western region accounts. Besides these leadership duties, my work assignment included normal MVS team duties, performing normal daily support functions, disaster recovery drills and system & software product upgrades. Developed and taught presentations on SORT / ICETOOL, REXX for MVS programmers and Unix for MVS. Planned and supported the Conway migration to the national MVS leverage team’s software standards and upgrading their systems to an HP/ES standardized system.
