    I spearheaded Federal and State litigation involving insurance coverage and defense, construction claims and defects, environmental contamination, real estate disputes, business contract disputes, as well as trying and successfully arguing cases in the court of appeals, involving trademark and trade secret infringement, and copyright infringement. I also prepared insurance coverage opinions, managing all stages of case lifecycle from preparation of strategy and motions and legal research, to defending depositions and arguing motions in court. I provided guidance to clients on various business disputes.• Successful in a case with a mining company being sued by CEEMXX with the goal of taking over client’s business; written settlement could not come to terms and court agreed with client that settlement was too uncertain to enforce and vacated settlement; settled case with CEMEX for $350K, paid by insurance company. • Taken and defended hundreds of depositions. • First Chair trial experience, managing cases from initiation to conclusion; successful on over 90% of summary judgment motions prepared.
