As the Core Division Chief, provided vision and direction for DFMI’s largest division consisting of three courses influencing 3,000+ cadets yearly. Supervised seven instructors, approved lesson objectives, curriculum, texts, and assessments for freshman and senior level courses and for USAFA’s Scholar’s Program MSS 400 core course, Joint and Coalition Operations. Conducted classroom evaluations and provided feedback to 36 Air Force, Navy, Army, Japanese and British exchange officers as well as PhD civilians ensuring instructor competency and standardization. Responsible for ensuring all coursework synchronized with USAFA learning outcomes. As the Regional Military Studies Division (RMS) provided vision and direction for eight course directors in developing six regional military studies courses centered on each of the six U.S. Combatant Commands. Approved lesson objectives, curriculum, texts, and assessments for junior and senior level MSS Major’s courses. Supervised eight instructors, conducted classroom evaluations and provided feedback ensuring instructor competency. Ensured synchronization with USAFA learning outcomes. Adjunct professor for Politics of Latin America, a Political Science Major’s course for the Political Science Department. Academically advised numerous freshman cadets, an entire cadet squadron (approximately 120 cadets), and a small number of MSS Majors.
