Created a bureau system in which multiple PBS stations provided material for NBR, and developed a network of 10 highly prominent economic commentators, who appeared regularly on a rotating basis: Alan Greenspan, then a senior presidential adviser; Arthur Laffer, creator of the supply-side Laffer Curve; Lester Thurow of MIT's Sloan School of Management; Alfred Kahn, former Civil Aeronautics Board chairman and architect of airline deregulation; Charles Schultze of the Brookings Institution; senior Kennedy administration adviser Walter Heller; Business Week deputy editor William Wolman; economic consultant and presidential adviser Charls E. Walker; Lundberg Letter editor and publisher Dan Lundberg; and Adam Smith (George Goodman), the well-known author of business and economics books.
