The Community Foundation has a $1,000,000 plus corpus (invested funds) that provide income that is distributed to projects each year as part of annual grant rounds. The broad vision of the Foundation is to be part of a community strengthened by philanthropy. It works toward this vision by gathering funds to invest and uses the income generated to unlock opportunities for community growth across the Central Victorian region.

He was actively involved in developing a range of exciting program and planning initiatives at Bendigo including the Commonwealth Youth Games, Summer In The Parks Program, Streets Ahead program and a variety of strategic planning projects.
