I oversaw the first successful computerization of any network-affiliated television newsroom in the world. KIRO was one of the first TV stations to go "all ENG" and to use innovative digital graphics and weather graphics systems. KIRO was on the bleeding edge of broadcast news technology and as a result had a world-wide reputation for excellence and innovation.
