    USNR and Mid-South have merged to offer more services to Industry. Chief among these new services are Turn-key options. Many companies want the option to work with an experienced team to define the project parameters and then keep their focus on Operations, while knowing the project will be executed and built to meet those expectations. USNR is providing these turn-key options. Using Mid-South professional engineering and design group, a turn-key project can be include all the civil, utility, foundation, structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical elements and combined with USNR equipment manufacturing as well as out-sourced equipment to deliver the desired operational upgrade, brownfield modernization or greenfield facility. Alternatively, a turn-key project can also be reduced in scope to focus on one machine center's replacement or any size project in between the small and large project pendulum spectrums.

    As Executive Vice President my role at Mid-South was as varied as the industries we served. While predominantly working on projects for wood related heavy industrial manufacturing, such as: OSB, LVL, Particle board, Lumber, MDF, CLT, pelleting, etc., there were a large number of projects in other facilities, including green energy, biomass power generation, hydro-electric power, mining & mineral, aggregates, steel production, as well as others. Mid-South provides professional engineering, design, feasibility studies, planning & development services, consulting, expert witness services, and more.Engineers, Architect, designers and drafters in the fields of Agricultural, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical work as team to provide complete project oversight and design.     I began as a Process Engineer over two departments responsible for the manufacturing of graphite electrodes used by the electric arc furnaces of steel mills. Within approximately one year, a promotion added the oversight of the quality control laboratory and I helped to develop the computer programming and database tracking of production. A second promotion added all Process Engineering responsibilities for the entire plant as well as the assistance to computerized tracking for sister operations within the corporation.
