    Creator of the free online resource 'The Scottish Composer'.The Scottish Composer is a free online resource created to inspire musicians of all levels to compose music in a traditional/contemporary folk style. The website hosts a series of composition tasks aimed at different levels. I created all the tasks as well as the website, and secured funding from the 'Tasgadh' fund to realise the project, as well as recruiting skilled musicians to send in videos demonstrating how they solved the tasks.   • The 'Irrationalities' project

    The 'Irrationalities' project is a commission from the 'new voices' series at Celtic Connections, premiered in 2020. I composed and arranged 50 minutes of music for 8 musicians.The composition is a reflection of my own journey with mental health, and with this project I seek to promote discussion and awareness of mental health issues within the traditional music scene. I have recruited some of Scotland and Scandinavia's finest musicians to be part of the 'Irrationalities' ensemble.In 2021 I secured funding from the Creative Scotland open fund to record, release and promote the album. It will be recorded in April 2022 and released later the same year.

    One-to-one fiddle and plucked instrument lessons. I have taught around 40 students between the ages of 5-65. Lessons either delivered in-person or online (Zoom).I have delivered workshops and taught at short courses, teaching music (repertoire, arrangement, tradition, technique) to students of all levels, from children to adults in music camps across Europe.
