Healing Greyts™ helps transition active U. S. Military Service Members into civilian life through a foster program preparing Galgos (a type of dog) for home life. Both active Service Members and Galgos have experienced tremendous trauma in their recent pasts. Both populations need to adapt and learn coping skills for successful home lives. The mission of Healing Greyts™ is to unite United States Military Service Members, before discharge, and Galgo dogs into a unique foster program. Both will benefit from experiencing a positive human-animal bond, which will bring emotional healing to each.
