My first year as Manager was spent hiring staff, implementing a cross-training program, defining customers and services, building key alliances and transferring responsibilities from other organizations within HOVENSA. My final assignment was to address the disposition of 47 years of electronic and paper corporate records affected by the closure of HOVENSA L.L.C., one of the ten largest refineries in the world.

Developed and implemented HOVENSA flow diagram symbology and drafting standards, as well as a standardized CAD symbol library and menu.

Designed and drafted control panels, factory floor plans and mechanical installation and application drawings. Responsible for material ordering, scheduling and expediting on several rapid transit projects, including the Pittsburgh subway system. Supervised the layout and monitored assembly of power distribution and equipment housings.
