My position as Graduate Assistant at Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA) was two-fold. I served as the personal assistant and scheduler to IPA’s President and CEO. This role consisted of scheduling meetings with various board members and prospective IPA members, prepping research materials before important meetings, and conducting other research when needed. My second role at IPA was serving as event coordinator. This position consisted of organizing IPA event logistics including coordinating with guest speakers and collecting their professional information, arranging event space/catering, and prepping all materials needed for the day of the event. A few events that I helped coordinate were the John Mutz Leadership Institute classes, the Work for Good Summit with our community foundation interns and IPA’s Regional Legislative Roundtables throughout Indiana.
