I started as an Accounts Payable staff from Dec 2012 to March 2014. After a year the company promoted me as an Accounting Assistant. As an Accounts Payable staff I cut the checks for the payment of the vendors. This payment should be approved first by the Accounting Manager. I also did the monthly reconciliation of the vendors account to make sure that their statements and the company's record are correct. I also prepared the Annual AP reports needed by the Auditors for the audit.On March 2014 I was promoted as an Accounting Assistant. As an Accounting Assistant these were my duties and responsibilities :*Reconciling of the General Ledger Accounts.*Entering of Debit Memos in the books.Monthly Journal Entry of Sales.*Recording of Credit Card transactions and payments.*Recording of daily cash deposits.Provided other reports needed by the Controller.*Provided the reports needed by the Auditor for the annual audit.*I am also the back up person for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in case the person is not avaialble.
