    As the Fundraising and Events Chair I am responsible for all aspects of fundraising for the county Democratic Party. This includes email fundraising campaigns, educating voters and volunteers about fundraising, providing development support to local candidates and campaigns, and planning annual fundraising events such as our annual dinner. I also served for one year as Co-Captain of Parker Democrats, responsible for hosting monthly meetings, inviting local candidates and experts to speak on political and community issues, encouraging Parker Democrats to be civically active through calls to elected officials, giving testimony at local political events or town council meetings, attending community events.

    I am running for Parker Town Council to ensure we maintain our Parker hometown feel and quality of life while planning for sustainable growth. I will work to ensure that Parker is a community for all people, where we can work and thrive together.I’ve spent my career in philanthropy and community service, bringing people together to solve issues in downtown revitalization, education, homelessness and the arts. As I have continued bringing people together, the connections I have built in Parker have been rooted in my experience as a parent and volunteer. I have worked to encourage Parker residents of all ages to become involved in their local government, school district, and community to ensure their voice is heard. My non-profit experience and board management brings a unique perspective to Town Council. I have helped organizations diversify their leadership to bring more voices to the table. I have also worked in community organizing, with the goal of increasing community engagement. As a development professional I have always practiced fiscal conservatism and I understand the complicated balance of funding community needs. A career in fundraising means working behind the scenes to focus on the needs of the greater community, which translates perfectly into the work of a Council member. I promise to put the needs of the entire community front and center in my work on Town Council.

    Within a year of becoming the Associate Director of Development for the Craig School of Business, I was promoted to Director of Development.
